About Treo Zambia
Built in Lusaka, for Zambian contractors.
Treo Zambia Limited was founded in 2020 by three Zambian construction operators — a quantity surveyor, a project manager, and a software engineer — who'd watched the construction industry rely on photocopied templates from forgotten engagements, supplier directories that hadn't been updated since 2014, and code reference passed around on WhatsApp. We built the digital reference shelf the industry needed: locally calibrated, kept current, and operationally based in Lusaka.
How we built locally
Treo Zambia is operationally based in Lusaka. Engineering, customer support, sales operations, and partnership management all run from the local office. We hold partnership relationships with major Zambian materials suppliers, industry bodies including the National Council for Construction, and regional logistics providers across the SADC region for cross-border project work.
How we differ from imported tools
Construction software ported from Western markets typically misses Zambian regulatory specifics, supplier networks, pricing data, and the cross-border SADC project realities our contractors actually navigate. Pan-African platforms tend to default to Lagos or Nairobi conditions. We're a Zambia-first toolkit that may eventually expand regionally but starts from operational competence at home.
Who we serve
Zambian construction contractors and firms. Quantity surveyors and consulting practices. Project managers running multi-project portfolios. Building, civil, and infrastructure contractors. Plus the SADC-region operators running cross-border projects with Zambian components — currently active across Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, and Zimbabwe with growing presence elsewhere in the region.
